Arrowleaf balsamroot, above, comes in clusters on hillsides. Look closely at the petals of the plant that seems to always be facing the sun. Youll also see phlox, left, in the Foothills this time of the year but you have to look closely for the tiny flower. Any of the Foothills trails should have displays of some kind of wildflowers. |
